
(Deep fried golden rolls of bread wrapped around a sausage draped in cheese & sauce) ____________________________________________________________________

Ingredients :
8 large square thick bread slices
6 1/2" thick 2-3" long sausages
1/2 cup ketchup/ any spicy sauce of choice
8 cheese single slices
herbs/ seasoning powders of your choice
1 egg - beaten
2 cups breadcrumbs
oil to deep-fry
Cooking Instructions:
Cut off edges from bread slices. Work with them 1-by-1 from now: Gently immerse the slice quickly in water & squeeze between your palms. Apply 1tsp sauce & sprinkle little herbs/ seasoning powders on it. Place 1 cheese slice on it & then place 1 sausage along an edge of the slice. Gently fold the slice ends near the sausage ends & then roll over folding the slice onto the sausage. Then, lift the arrangement in your palm & with the other hand gently press & seal the roll at the end, ensuring both ends are well-sealed (use wet fingers to seal). Place rolls in fridge to set for 10mins. Heat oil to deep fry. Dip the rolls in the beaten egg & roll into breadcrumbs. Deep fry till golden brown & set to drain on paper towels. Serve with ketchup of sauce of your choice.
